Coronavirus update

Working for TFS Healthcare

If you or anyone close to you has been put at risk of potentially contracting the virus, please contact your consultant at the earliest opportunity to notify them, and we will ensure that you are not placed into any shifts until it is safe to do so again.

If you display any of the main symptoms of the coronavirus, speak to your consultant immediately and cancel all booked shifts for the next 14 days.

Stay alert

We can all help control the virus if we all stay alert. This means you must:

  • stay at home as much as possible
  • work from home if you can
  • limit contact with other people
  • keep your distance if you go out (2 metres apart where possible)
  • wash your hands regularly

Do not leave home if you or anyone in your household has symptoms. There is currently no specific treatment for coronavirus. Antibiotics do not help, as they do not work against viruses. You’ll need to stay in isolation away from other people until you’ve fully recovered.
