About the role
To pursue a career as a functional assessor, you will need to be an NMC nurse or Physiotherapist with at least two years post-registration experience. You must also have a current HCPC registration to be eligible to apply.
We are looking for Registered Healthcare Professionals with a wide range of clinical knowledge, who love working with patients on a one-to-one basis to understand how their lives are affected by their medical or physical disabilities.

So not only will you have the benefit of fixed working hours, you will also be working for a company who has a real interest in their employees’ career development. You’ll have access to excellent training opportunities which can lead to qualifications, and the company will provide you with on-going CPD & appraisals to ensure revalidation all while covering the cost of your NMC fees every year.
This role will give you the satisfaction of knowing that you are giving the patient a fair assessment based on your clinical knowledge.
This job offers day to day variety, with face to face interaction.

Here’s what some of our previous candidates have said:
“Sarah was invaluable to me getting my dream job. She went above and beyond what I expected, and even travelled half way up the country to meet me to prepare me for my interview. The interview process was unlike anything I’ve ever gone through before, and that’s why TFS and Sarah stood out for me. She was knowledgeable, and professional but very personable at the same time. So glad i met her, she was great!”
“Throughout the entire process, Sarah has been incredibly helpful and attentive. She’s prepared me thoroughly for every stage and her knowledge has been incredible. I would like to thank Sarah for her amazing dedication and support throughout the process. It is because of her I have got to the interview stage on Wednesday.”
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude for all your constant support and understanding in helping me with the application for the Functional Assessor role. It was your soft manner at the very outset that persuaded me to go forward with this application having turned down a number of other calls from other agencies. It was great to meet you and have your guidance with regards interview technique and I am thrilled to say it has paid off!”
“Sarah has been an amazing support the last few weeks during my interview process. She has not only been professional but also friendly and easy to discuss issues and concerns with. From the beginning, Sarah has encouraged me all the way through, even during times I have doubted myself through own lack of confidence. Sarah responds quickly to emails in regards to any questions I have had. As you can imagine, interviews/online exams can be daunting, however, Sarah has guided me throughout and I could not have gone through this without her, she is an absolute credit to your team.”
